Tonight we discuss privacy on the web versus illegal piracy activity.  Lionsgate film studio has been allowed to subpoena companies to help it find those who pirated copies of The Expendables 3.  They will now ask companies including Google and GoDaddy to find the sharers' identities.  Third parties also subpoenad include CloudFlare, Incapsula, Google, GoDaddy and Domains by Proxy LLC.  Lionsgate may demand the production of electronically stored information such as billing records, website content, server logs and correspondence.  To many, this flies in the face of privacy concerns that are very hot right now.  Tune in to hear where this falls on the “legally allowable” versus “internet privacy" spectrum.
