On January 20th 2009, G.O.O.D music artist Tony Williams is performing at numerous events throughout the inauguration festivities. Williams the co author of the Obama tribute song by rap superstar Jay Z is slated to perform the victorious song “History” together, as part of the lineup for the “Neighborhood Ball” hosted by Barack Obama and stated as, “the premier event of the inauguration night,” which will air on ABC and MTV. In addition, Williams will perform alongside Kanye West at President Obama's "Youth Celebration.” Both pairings will be spectacular and historic. Tony Williams, whose album “King or the Fool” was produced by Kanye West, features Francis Vallejo's King or the Fool portrait commissioned for Williams. This portrait was recently inducted into the Society of Illustrators 2008 Illustration 47 Show. King or the Fool is slated for promotional single release and media marketing January through March 09' with a release party TBA in Los Angeles to coincide with a ceremony for "The Portrait" showcase hosted by Society of Illustrators www.si-la.org Because Barack Obama is our modern day “King”, a limited edition Inaugural “Choose To Be King” version will be given away to A-List celebrities and socialites during the Inauguration festivities.
