"SAM" - Short Film About Suicide In The Military

JUAN GARCIA - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER / AUTHOR
A native of Miami, Florida, Juan is a graduate of Middlebury College. After earning his BA in English and Political Science,  Juan served in the United States Army for over 8 years as a Field Artillery Officer.  Juan deployed in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom with 1st Brigade 101st Airborne Division. Juan currently lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and newborn, where he works and writes.  His writing is in large part based upon his experiences as a Infantry Rifle Company Commander in Afghanistan.

ALEXIS GARCIA ROCCA - WRITER / DIRECTOR
Alexis is a Los Angeles based writer, director, producer. The Miami native is an alumna of NHMC's Writing Fellowship and assisted director Millicent Shelton on TV shows including 30 Rock, Men of A Certain Age, Parks and Recreation, and Californication.  Sam is Alexis' writing / directing debut and first collaboration with her brother Juan.
