Too many Americans are hurting financially his Sunday morning because of unemployment. There is no legitimate reason for unemployment except to say that greed is the main factor. The love of money is destroying a nation. How can this be if 9 of every 10 Americans are Christians?

Faith without work is dead, according to scripture and according to scripture we are to pray for our leaders. We are missing the mark somewhere This Sunday morning, wouldn't you say. Unemplyment is too high and wages are too low. Are the workers not worthy of jobs? Are the owners of the vineyards not being approached and asked for work by believers?

Corporate CEOs are:  Laying off workers,  locking out workers, paying low wages,   not hiring  refusing to raise minimum wages and charging more and more for goods and services.

GOP who is in control of Congress are:  Refusing to raise minimum wages,    cutting food stamps allotments,  firing teachers and police officers and other government employees, refusing to extend unemployment benefits, fighting to get rid of the affordable care act, cutting already earned pensions of veterans and blocking every jobs bills that comes to their desk.

For as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.  James 2:26

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Is faith and work being taught by clergy and if faith are work are are being taught can anyone explain why poverty is growing in America today? Where are the jobs? Are people hoping for and working to get jobs?
