I recall the excitement of the young John f. Kennedy being elected President of the United States.
We felt a man who understood family first would have the chance to make a difference in our America.
John F. Kennedy spoke well. He spoke politics but he also spoke about the country as being a whole. All inclusive. He would turn out to be the liberator that would help in the civil rights movement and usher in racial equality and desegregation. LBJ picked up the torch for freedom.
