I have developed a sinking feeling about government union member workers being targeted by government elected officials. If we are going to accept a group of employees being able to divide, devour, and conquer, another group of employees, then they all should be on equal footing. Treat elected officials like hired employees. The election process becomes the hiring process. Then congress and senate are as other government employees. Then when America's economy is bad, and we need to cut government paychecks, or we need workers to pay more for benefits, or they abuse the rules they designed and passed into law, we can fire them. Congress and Senate alike. I said it before, and I am saying it again, our elected officials think they are better than the rest of America. They speak out both sides of their mouth, and say they are doing the work of the American people. They disregard the opposing party, as if you didn't vote for them, you do not count. Our elected officials do what they want; because they know the people will not take a stand. The fact is they are right. For if America as a whole would take a stand, many of the elected officials we have never would have been elected to any office. Come together America and not allow this attack on government employees. Fighting to win elections is not acceptable when the workers are being used. 30 million jobless Americans; now 56,000 government employees in Madison, Wisconsin facing wage cuts; Similar activities happening in Ohio. The elected officials are preparing to hire more people as soon as they can rig up this redistricting activity. When was the last time congress and senates gave themselves raises?
