In this episode, we'll spotlight the incredible power of taking something meant for harm and turning it into something good. Molly McDonald, Founder and President of The Pink Fund, will share her mission to remedy the financial wrath of cancer.

Molly's diagnosis came as a complete surprise. With no family history and 13 years of clear mammograms, she never considered the possibility that an annual check up would reveal breast cancer. Being in the midst of transitioning jobs and insurance coverage, she began asking questions of healthcare providers. She quickly learned there was no clear solution to help alleviate patients' financial stress.

In 2006, armed with financial and disease statistics, and corporate knowledge, Molly set out to make a viable difference with "The Pink Fund." Granted nationwide recognition and sponsorship to include the Ford Motor Company's "Warriors in Pink" designation, her vision continues to grow. In fact, this fiscal year 248 individuals in 40 states received financial assistance!

Molly’s determination to magnify giving forward has been highlighted in The Detroit Free Press and labeled as the Business Superstar of the Week.
