Bob’s book, Life after Loss, has become a classic since it was first published in 1988, now in its 5th edition and translated in seven foreign languages. He serves as a pastor, frequent speaker and conference leader for hospice workers, nurses, military chaplains, ministry programs, grief seminars, and more. Bob's wife, June, who formerly lectured with him and wrote a chapter in the current edition of Life after Loss, has been battling dementia since 2004. She has been a participant in ground-breaking research at Banner Alzheimer's Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, since 2009 after her diagnosis was changed to Alzheimer's.
