I have been a litle hesitant to post this because i didn't know if it would be understood correctly. But lately I have been engaging and hearing some interesting conversations about the democrats and republicans concerning this whole financial and economic mess and a few things came to mind and caused me to do some research to back up what I am about to post.

First Item: Do you know your History?
There are many people that talk about  the Republican party and how they are acting towards the Democrats and its become to the point that everyones a Racist if they dont go for the Democrats. Well First let me tell you that up until  the 1960's the Democrats were the biggest racist party ever. They  were the biggest proponents of slavery, they even voted to keep slavery around, while the Republicans  voted to have slavery abolished. And up until 1960 all blacks before that were Republicans. Now let me say this one thing , Im not a supporter of either party because I dont like politicians for obvious reasons, but I do support Truth and Getting the truth out.(Now back to the program) As a matter of fact everyone talks about how good J F K was but did you know that as "Senator" Kennedy (a Democrat) he voted against the Civil Rights act of the 60's denying blacks their civil rights. It wasnt until he became "President" Kennedy that he changed his vote only to make his own political future secure and because of black pressure.  I bet that many of you didnt know that the KKK was first all Democrats, many of your prominate democratic politicians were members of this organization and they fought to keep us "the blacks down" It wasnt until George McGovern a racist white democrat was shot and blacks took care of him then he changed his mind and started loving "us" that the democratic party slowly started turning toward minorities and letting us in. O and did  you know that Democrats voted to keep every thing seperate but equal. But as the democrats started letiing us "in" because of  McGovern and Kennedy then slowly black started to join and racist whites turned Republican cause we were joining the party. Now as of today almost all the Democratic party is a mixture of all races. But I Read something that interst me. I read the two philosophies of both parties, and i saw that the D's were for more government control and government regulation and expansion, which they think is good for everyone, but really if that happens then the government can control your money and say what you have to do with it. Where as the republicans want more free market where as you can create your own business and control your own money and government doesnt keep you down and tell you what to do. Now on the surface in todays time we see both parties as being divided and we see them in a different light, but do your homework like i did and google the democrats on slavery or republicans on slavery and you would be surprised at what you find. Now like i said i dont support either but i do support getting the truth out. because if  we as black people dont get the truth, then we are forever bound and will forever be mislead. We need to wake up and do our work and see how politics benifits us for our good and our bad. wake up and see whos who and whats what. you know everyone is talking about how the democrats will turn everything around and Obama will fix it all, but did you know (i was reminded of this this morning, as i was listening to talk radio) that as we are in an economic crisis, banks are failing and people are losing jobs, congress, especially democrats with the majority vote, voted to give themselves a  $4000 raise, and what did our beloved President do to stop this, nothing. Now yes i know there are racist whites in the republican party but there also some in the democratic paryt they just hide behind the money and the power. But all Im saying is know the truth and then you can go higher!!!

Second item: Successful Blacks
It's funny that when blacks get succesful we call it selling out and or "Uncle Tomming", or wanting to be white. Now you wanna talk about player hating, let a brother get a good job and or good education and watch how his people turn on him. We need to get out that mantality of keeping it Hood or stay true to your block. yea i believe in don't forget where you came from and who you are, but if i stay where i am and never leave i'll never get to where i need to be!!! Listen, my opinion on this is that: Theres nothing wrong with talking proper or being educated, because the fact of the matter is that we are not acting like we are white but showing that we are equal or better than the racist whites thats trying to hold us back. So if having an education and talking proper gets me ahead, and  further than i am now, then  How You Like Me Now, lol. but seriously nothing wrong with and education.  Now on that note there are some blacks that think they you know what dont stink when they make it and denounce the black race entierly, but i'm talking about the ones that even though they make it they never deny who they are or where they came from. Thye are just trying to make it. so can you give a brother or sister some support and stop dissin'

Third and final Item; This is and will be a mind blower and a shocker i Know to  many of you.:
Did you know Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican? WHAAAAAAT!!!  Yes, Google it, MLK or his full name being a repulican or go on the black republican website and you will see the article. The reason why he was a Republican is because as i said earlier that republicans were the biggest supporters of civil rights, and black causes. LBJ a republican president is noted as being the biggest advocate for blacks in history. so yes MLK was a Repulican . But again this is not about supporting a party, but getting truth out so we won't be blind anymore.
