Speaking of Art

Today we are speaking with Bob Timberlake, one of America’s greatest artists.  Born and raised in North Carolina, he earned a BS degree in Industrial Relations in 1959 from the UNC @ Chapel Hill. While Timberlake always enjoyed painting, he didn’t begin his professional career until 1970, when he was 33 years old.  He has Received the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism for Artistry, the North Carolina Press Assn.’s North Carolinian of the Year, and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian honor.  Bob will share his insights about his career and his passion for art.
