Host: Wallace Gordon PMP, MBA Special Guest: Earl A. Pace, Jr., American businessman and activist, co-founder of the Black Data Processing Associates in 1976. BDPA was founded in 1975 by Earl A. Pace, Jr. and the late David Wimberly after the two met in Philadelphia to discuss their concerns about African Americans in the IT industry's middle and upper management, low recruitment of Blacks into the IT industry, and poor preparation of African Americans for postions that would increase their career mobility. Today, BDPA has 45 chapters located in 26 states. BDPA wants to advance the careers of African Americans in the IT industry from the classroom to the boardroom.
