Dimitra Ekmektsis is a contributor and translator of the on-line journal of world politics www.transnational-perspectives.org and a member of the Association of World Citizens to the Unites Nations, Geneva, where she is working on issues of women and children. Formerly, she published “Confessions of a High-Priced Call Girl”, and “Secret Confessions of a High-Priced Call Girl” - both autobiographical novels. She is a contributor to Cosmopolitan magazine, working on sex and relationship articles. In 2007, she was a guest lecturer in Barstow College, where she taught Human Sexuality and Psychology. In 2006, PMP Books, an Ulusoy company in Istanbul, Turkey purchased the Turkish book-rights of Confessions of a High-Priced Call Girl, and translated and released the book in Turkish. From 2000-2003 Dimitra worked at the world-famous Kit Kat Ranch – a legal brothel in Nevada. From 1996-1999 she was an exotic dancer in Miami, Florida. From 1990-1993 she worked for an elite escort service in New York City.
