Jobs for Felons

How are felons supposed to live without work, clothing, food, housing?. Cleveland,Ohio had a job fare last week two thousand people showed up. I would say that these people (felons) wanted to work. Are people not supposed to get second chances, are these people not supposed to be able to redeem themselves. Society is saying no. Have we become so heartless that we cannot forgive and make a way for people to make a honest living?.
