    BDD Live returns this Saturday with lots of ground to cover, and three more high profile guests to give you all the latest information in the baseball world. Leading things off will be Cincinnati Reds prospect Yonder Alonso. Alonso, the 8th overall selection in this year's draft, had an outstanding career for the Miami Hurricanes and will now look to continue his success in the Reds farm system. Next up is more draft discussion, as Baseball Prospectus' own Kevin Goldstein steps in studio and will provide commentary on the Pedro Alvarez situation. ESPN.com's Jayson Stark will close us out. The well-known baseball scribe will update us on the playoff chase, and hit all the interesting stories and subplots in the regular seasons' final months.

    BDD Live Presents Aaron Crow

    BDD Live returns this Saturday with another jam packed show. Former Washington Nationals top selection and Missouri standout Aaron Crow will join us just after the midpoint of the hour, shedding some light on the negotiations that failed to materialize as last Friday's deadline came and went. Crow will now take his mid-90s fastball to Fort Worth in the Independent League, hoping to keep building on his impressive college resume as he'll re-enter the draft in 2009.

    BDD Live Presents Orioles Top Prospect Chris Tillman

    As major league squads go down to the wire trying to sign this year's major league draft selections, anther top prospect already entrenched in the minor league system joins BDD Live tomorrow. Baltimore Oriole prospect Chris Tillman, a central part of the deal that sent Erik Bedard to Seattle, comes in studio to talk about the move to the Baltimore organization. From there we'll analyze the week that was in the majors, complete with a waiver wire deal that saw Adam Dunn head West. Jim McLennan from AZ Snakepit joins us to lend some insight on the deal. McLennan's popular blog has been in the middle of every move made out in the Desert, and he'll give us the pulse of Diamondback fans after this blockbuster trade made earlier this week.

    BDD Live Brings In Phillies Pitcher Chad Durbin!

    As one deadline passed by, another approaches with August 15th looming over head. That of course is the final day for major league clubs to sign their draft picks, and that along with another group of star studded guests will highlight this week's BDD Live broadcast. Before the draft takes the spotlight, Philadelphia Phillies star reliever Chad Durbin will join us in studio, as his squad currently leads the three-way dogfight in the National League East. Next in the booth is Baseball America's Jim Callis, with all the info surrounding the looming deadline for this year's draft picks. 11 first round picks remain unsigned, including four of the top five selections. Callis will enlighten us and fans about the status of tomorrow's stars, and give us insight on all the posturing and negotiating behind the scenes as deadline day closes in.

    BDD Live Recaps The Trading Deadline!

    After one of the most exciting weeks of the baseball season, BDD Live returns with another broadcast filled with opinion and analysis from all the movers and shakers at the trade deadline. Moves were made across the country, and this week's show will attempt to do the same. Join host Eric SanInocencio as he takes the pulse of the blogosphere, hitting the hot spots of every franchise that was active this past Thursday. Giving us the latest word are a list of writers who've been in the middle of all the action. Opening up the show is Charlie Wilmoth of Bucs Dugout, as he talks about the eight new prospects joining the Pittsburgh organization after a slew of deals. Next up is Rob McMillin of 6-4-2, and he'll enlighten us on the West Coast mood after acquiring slugger Manny Ramirez. McMillin will add his thoughts on the Angels bringing Mark Teixeira in the fold, and how the Halos have powered through the northeast on their latest road trip. We then move to Atlanta with Mac Thomason of Braves Journal. The Braves were expected to contend in 2008, yet moved hired gun Mark Teixeira and now welcome young first sacker Casey Kotchman. It all closes in New York, as Ben Kabak of River Ave Blues talks the junior circuit, and how the Yankees transformed their lineup over the past few days.
