On this edition of the Nasty Cast we go over the offseason trades and signings that have gone down since our last podcast. We also dive further into the 2017 dynasty mock draft and look at the picks that we liked and disliked the most, and go into our own teams in detail.

James Fegan, Mark Primiano and Nick Schaefer broke the incredibly long drought of The Catbird Speaks recordings this weekend with the first episode since the White Sox teardown began in earnest. This episode finds the staff acclimating to the new Sox way of life, talking about Jose Quintana trades, the lack of heat behind other players, answering reader questions and, as always, bagging on other teams. Topics include:
--Look at all these big-time prospects
--Who makes a deal for Quintana? (Rockies? Pirates? Astros? Yankees? Braves? Mets?)
--Some actual trade rumor info
--Where are Frazier and Lawrie going to go?
--When will this prospect bounty make it to the majors?
--The Mariners look bad
--Reacting to James' bad jokes
--2017 White Sox win total

In Part 2 of the Hall of Fame episode, Greg and Josh are joined first by Sam Mellinger of the KC Star to discuss the pressure of being a first time voter and the differences between filling out a theoretical one and one that will actually count towards the final tally. They also speak to Ben Lindbergh of The Ringer and the Effecitvely Wild podcast about the reasons behind the surge in voting for Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, whether the final ballot effect is the reason for Tim Raines' push, and challenges created by the current Hall of Fame voting system.
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that the Chroncast is at it again, but just one last time in 2016. That's right, after this week's episode, you won't have me or Doug to kick around anymore! Joining us this week for an appropriate send-off is Baseball's Grant Brisbee.
What's the best course of action for the Giants to take heading into 2017? Do the recent Gold Glove awards make a whole lot of sense? What does it mean that the pitching is good? Who were the top 2 homegrown Giants by OPS last season (without looking it up!).
Beyond that, we answer one last round of your always excellent Twitter questions and decide, once and for all, what band reminds Joe Maddon reminds us of the most.
Doug and I thank you for listening to and supporting us all season long. We'd also like to thank all of our wonderful guests, from Grant Brisbee to Grant Brisbee, and all the Grant Brisbees in between. Actually -- seriously -- thank you to Jen Mac Ramos, Roger Munter, Wendy Thurm, Reuben Poling, Carmen Kiew, Bryan Srabian, Mike Ferrin, my buddy Joe, Jason Wojciechowski, Dan Szymborski, Goofus, thirteenthirteen, jponry, and kdl for taking time out of your busy schedules to help make this thing a real thing.
We'll be back next season
Ryan, Isaac, and Joel get together to discuss the events of the last two weeks. Included is debate about the merits of the Wade Davis for Jorge Soler deal, the bullpen overall, the Jon Jay signing, the split of playing time among the outfielders, and some chatter about the starting rotation.
Later, the guys give their picks for who could be the leadoff man now that Dexter Fowler is wearing Cardinal red. If you like this episode, please follow us @BPWrigleycast on Twitter and send us your feedback!

Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you're all shaking off the dust from a productive Burning Man, and are looking to fine tune your offseason dynasty strategy. Actually I don't really wish those things, it was just the first thing that popped into my head. With that said, welcome back to another episode of the Razzball Prospect Podcast with myself, Prospector Ralph, and Michael Halpern of Imaginarybrickwall.com. This week on the pod we talk Byron Buxton's resurgence, Rockies rookies Raimel Tapia and Tom Murphy (of course!!), and the curious case of Shohei Otani. Then as always we get into this week's edition of "Lists w/ Prospectors", as Halp and I take your through our Outfield Prospect ranks. We discuss in painful detail, such luminaries as Austin Meadows, Victor Robles, Lewis Brinson, Bradley Zimmer, Eloy Jimenez, and several others. Enough with the words! Subscribe, tune in, and tune out. It's the latest edition of the Razzball Prospect Podcast.
Wooooo, it's good to be back! I've missed Grey's laugh like you wouldn't believe, and on today's show we talk the James Shields' trade, solid pitching from Matt Shoemaker and Michael Fulmer, and how hot Jonathan Villar has been. Don't get Grey and Rudy's engines revved about ESPN player rater value with the overemphasis of steals! We also talk Joe Ross (obviously!), where Yu Darvish ranks ROS, and our thoughts on Julio Urias. Now with more techno music!
