Anne Alston is the founder and CEO of Alstntec Consulting, LLC, a new emerging woman-owned organization that “Connects Clients, Industries, and Technologies.”  With over 25 years of combined Information technology and administration experience, Anne’s extensive background comes with the knowledge and precision of providing valuable IT consultation Services and professional development services.

Anne Alston began her consulting business as the owner of A & M Creations in 1997.  Working as a desktop publisher and business strategist.  The company’s motto was “Serving the Needs of Small Businesses.”  She would later add general technical support, PC repair, and IT business consultation to her list of services.  In 2005, the company changed its name to Alstntec to reflect the type of services she provided and to expand upon her consulting expertise.

In addition to running her new business, Anne serves as an IT Manager for one of the leading philanthropic network organizations in the world located in Arlington, Virginia.  In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the administration of internal systems and technology strategies for the organization.  Prior to that, she served as a Systems Administrator Technical Lead for an airline-affiliate organization located in Arlington, Virginia for five years where she oversaw IT projects, improved end-user services, managed technical staff and trained staff.  Her earlier careers included System and Network Administration, Helpdesk Management and IT Consultation for managers while working for various industries such as Legal, transportation, government, non-profit/associations, and private organizations.
