    Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!  (and yes, dog moms count!)-

    Today we got to meet one of my fave people, Gretchen Powers.  Gretchen is a client who has become a friend over time and is a wonderful example of someone utilizing Feng Shui principles.

    Gretchen told us she became interested in Feng Shui when she went through a major life change-moving from Florida to Alaska, new marriage and just transitioning to new life.  She contacted me to help pick out colors for new house (which is gorgeous and hopefully we'll get pics to post on the Facebook group for Feng Shui Fabulous!-have you  joined us yet?).  I did a total Feng Shui consult for the house-color scheme, working on de-cluttering, space-planning and accessory placement AND making use of the great views their home has.

    While all the changes haven't been made yet-decluttering NEEDS to be done first before you make any Feng Shui adjustments (otherwise you're only "activating" your clutter-i.e. PAST stuff!).  Most of the work has been done in Gretchen's office, their bedroom and the garage.  Gretchen is married to "the man of her dreams' (her words) and her business has increased-she even taught on a Norwegian Cruise ship from Boston-Bermuda!  How cool is that?

    Gretchen also shared her experiences with Treasure Mapping or Vision Boards.  Today is a Full Moon, therefore it's a perfect day to make your board and focus on what you want to bring into your life.  There is no right or wrong way of doing this-think of it as a Goal List but with pictures instead of words!
