  Feng Shui Fabulous-WEALTH & Abundance
  

  Hi Everyone-
  Today's episode went by quick!  We discussed a lot so here is a summary of how to activate the WEALTH energy/chi, into your space:
  
  First off, the WEALTH area is the far left corner of any room, your lot or your space.  You find this by standing in the entryway to the room (your house/office) or land.  The far left quadrant is the WEALTH area.
  
  This area is activated by the color(s) purple or any metallics-silver, gold, copper, bronze...The shape is free-flowing organic lines (water takes the shape of the container its in!), the WATER element and "salty" tastes.  Since METAL precedes WATER on the "productive chart" of elements, you can also use METAL to help activate the WEALTH area!!
  
  Personal items to use to activate WEALTH energy:
  
  fountains/aquariums
  any water-related animal (dolphin, frog)
  jewelry case
  coin dish
  model of car you want (Porsche, BMW)
  floor plan of dream house
  metal windchimes
  
  Menu Ideas:
  
  WATER taste is "salty".  Examples: soy sauce, kelp, salty fish.  Prepare WATER element foods by boiling, simmering or soup.
  METAL taste is "pungent".  Examples: ginger, garlic, brown rice.  Prepare METAL element foods by baking or pressure cooking.
  
  METAL menu ideas include:
  Spicy tuna tempura
  Steamed sole
  Chocolate & Pineapple ravioli
  Pistachios
  Mango, orange, grapefruit
  Sushi
  
  WATER menu ideas include:
  Creamed celery soup
  Braised veggies
  Any type of soup
  Any type of gravy, dressing, glaze, syrup
  Ceviche
  Any type of fish (water) especially prepared boiled, simmered or soup
  
  Chocolate is PERFECT for this area!  Think DARK chocolate with a champagne, saffron, cointreau or liquer ganache filling!  Totally decadent and fabulous!  Treat yourself to a Feng Shui Chocolate or a Godiva ice cream scoop!  YUM!
  
  The most important tip for this area is to actually FEEL wealthy and abundant.  Sit down and think of what makes YOU feel this way.  For some it's the daily trip to Starbucks.  For others it's silk sheets and for others it's cooking on great cookware w/expensive, quality ingredients.  It will be as different as there are people.  There are no right or wrong ways to FEEL wealthy.  One of my friends LOVES sunflowers-she has pictures of sunflower fields in bloom to give her the feeling of abundance.  What works for you?  Then get a picture of it and hang it.  Place a representative of that item (a model Porsche on your desk) and place it in one of your WEALTH areas.
  
  ***Get out of the poverty consciousness or bag lady syndrome of "I can't afford it" or "It's too expensive."...blah, blah.  You may NOT be able to afford the payments on a new Porsche or to go to Starbucks everyday or WHATEVER...but you CAN test drive your dream car (or rent it for the day!), and you CAN go to Starbucks 1x a week or month...If you continually thing you CAN'T...you NEVER WILL.***
  
  To decorate this area, use mirrors, upward growing plants, tabletop fountains, water and/or metal related items, things that represent wealth/abundanc to you, large bouquets of flowers, a cornicopia of overflowing goodies (change it with the seasons/holiday).  Lastly, you can use silk, leather, velvet, cashmere...whatever fabric that makes YOU think of luxury.  Buy a pillow, blanket, sheets...whatever, so that whenever you touch it, it makes you feel fabulous (and abundant!).
