We got off to a good start to the week on BangTheBook Radio yesterday and we kept the analysis coming on this edition of the show. Host Adam Burke talked NFL Week 3 and the Tour Championship with Brian Blessing of Sportsbook Radio to open up the show. The guys talked about barking underdogs in Week 2 and what that could mean for this week around the league. They hit on Bengals vs. Panthers, Broncos vs. Ravens, and the enormous number between the Bills and Vikings. Then they looked at the FedEx Cup playoffs finale and Brian shared some of his thoughts now that he's taken a deeper look at the event.
Professional handicapper Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com joined Adam for the second segment. The guys started with the NFL and looked at Week 3, including some interesting stats and trends for the games. The guys looked at Jets vs. Browns on Thursday, Packers vs. Redskins, and then Bears vs. Cardinals, with some extremely noteworthy trends for that matchup. On the college football side, the guys touched on some power ratings adjustments and covered NC State vs. Marshall, Boston College vs. Purdue, Stanford vs. Oregon, and Texas A&M vs. Alabama before ending with the Pick Six segment.
