Two professional handicappers join us on the Thursday September 6 edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke will start things off with Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com to hit on a bunch of games that have been sent in by listeners. The guys will talk quickly about power ratings adjustments and why closing line value matters and then hit a bunch of games, including Air Force vs. Florida Atlantic, Georgia vs. South Carolina, Colorado vs. Nebraska, Clemson vs. Texas A&M, and Cal vs. BYU. The Pick Six segment will wrap up the segment.
Tony George from Doc's Sports joins us to chat some Week 1 NFL and some Week 2 college football. The guys will start with a couple Big 12 CFB games, with Mississippi State vs. Kansas State and Iowa State vs. Iowa. On the NFL side, they'll talk about what's different about handicapping and betting the NFL compared to college and then look at 49ers vs. Vikings, Bengals vs. Colts, and Bears vs. Packers.
