A familiar friend returns to BangTheBook Radio with host Adam Burke on this Thursday August 9 edition of the show. Professional handicapper Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com will join us for this week's Powers Picks segment. The guys will start by chatting a little bit about tonight's NFL Preseason card as a whole bunch of Week 1 matchups kick off tonight. Then they'll transition to the college football side and talk about power rating tweaks, home field advantage calculations, and go in-depth on the SEC for the 2018 season.
Adam will then take a little time to talk MLB during another abbreviated version of The Bettor's Box. While most of the focus is on football, we don't want to lose sight of the fact that profitable opportunities are still out there on the baseball side of things. Adam talked about some recent results, some betting angles, and some things to watch for this weekend as we look to keep making money on the bases.
