The Bettor's Box MLB Betting Podcast April 19, 2018

Host Adam Burke was fired up for today's edition of The Bettor's Box, BangTheBook.com's MLB betting podcast. He had a lot of things to talk about and launched into a rant that will make you smarter than at least 75 percent of MLB managers and easily 99.8 percent of fans. He started, however, by going Beyond the Box Score with some thoughts on the Indians vs. Twins series in Puerto Rico, the Brewers vs. Reds series, with our first managerial firing of the season, and the Nationals vs. Mets.

After updating exit velocity stats and some of the teams in line for some regression, he went Down the Lines to discuss line moves dating back to Monday, when we were last on the air. That segment included a pick for tonight and a cautionary tale from Adam about this time of year. Today's sabermetric stats of the day were about how bunting sucks. Finally, a look at the weekend ahead with Pirates vs. Phillies, Giants vs. Angels, and Nationals vs. Dodgers closed up shop on another excellent edition of The Bettor's Box.
