Let's get it started with a new week of BangTheBook Radio. We're going to focus on the daily winter professional leagues here today, as Kyle Hunter is unable to join us due to a losing battle with bronchitis and laryngitis. Our first guest of the week will be the outstanding basketball writer Philip Rossman-Reich, whose work can be found at a lot of places, but primarily at his personal site Orlando Magic Daily. We'll talk about the implications of the All-Star Break and the Trade Deadline with Philip and also about some teams whose stock could be rising when play resumes later next week.

The silver lining to Kyle being unable to join us (aside from the fact that he'll join the show on Wednesday) is that host Adam Burke has a ton of hockey stuff to discuss. This is the best week we've seen in a long time from a situational betting standpoint. Adam will talk about several spots, including some good money line parlay picks and a whole lot more. NHL betting may not be something you do a lot, but this week has potential to be excellent.
