It's time for a Hump Day edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke will have the floor for a while today with only one guest able to make it on to the broadcast, but he has plenty of things to discuss. We'll open up the BangTheBook Mailbag for some listener questions to kick off today's show. We've got several talking points from our listeners, including personal routines for deciding what games to bet on, the terminology of betting, and also whether or not it's a good idea to buy points. These are all things that bettors need to keep in mind, so it's a great time to talk about them.
Wes Reynolds joins us for our Wednesday Wagering with Wes Reynolds segment. The guys will chat about derivative betting in college basketball and the NBA and ways that it can be really profitable when applied correctly. Betting first halves and second halves as opposed to full games or taking a full game position and limiting a little bit of risk with some half wagering is a bankroll management skill and we'll chat with Wes about that on today's show. We'll also break down the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which features an enormous field of 156 pros and 156 amateurs, including some well-known celebrities.
