Our Hump Day edition of BangTheBook Radio will be one that showcases the variety of topics and guests that we bring to the broadcast. Host Adam Burke will start things off with Alex Nicolas of the SB Nation blog Miner Rush for some Conference USA college basketball betting tips and predictions. We talk about conference specialization on our shows all the time and this is a chance to focus on one of America's less-appreciated mid-majors. We'll chat with Alex about home court advantages in C-USA, about the Thursday and Saturday slates of games for this week, and about what's going on with the UTEP Miners.

Wes Reynolds wound up unable to join us on today's segment, so host Adam Burke filled in by talking about some NHL betting stuff and also touching on some important handicapping topics and philosophies. He also added a little bit of analysis at the tail end of the show with a couple of his thoughts for the SBS Tournament of Champions, the first PGA Tour event of 2017 featuring the 32 winners from the 2016 calendar year, including Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, and Dustin Johnson.
