  With only a month to go before my first major professional stand-up gig, (my first ever was on May 2nd, in case you're wondering), I've got a lot going on at the moment in preparation for it, and as such, I've made the painful decision an additional several weeks break to concentrate on writing new material, (which I'll also be trying out on the show before the gig, so you can get a sneak preview).
  
  In the meantime, be sure to check out the archive shows, or the new Official Scotty Chan website, featuring entertainment, merchandise, and even a live video feed, (when available), of where I spend most of my waking, (and sleeping), hours, as well as where I actually host the show from.
  
  Hopefully, if all goes to plan, I'll also be hosting a video feed of the gig itself live from the website.
  
  Note: I've recently updated this blog to compensate for my extended break, due to an additional gig that I've had in the meantime, and also injuries to my left shin and right knee, which are gradually healing, and should be healed by my July 10th gig, (I'll only be hosting a 30 minute show on the 19th as I'll still be quite busy with working on the DVD of the gig, working on re-organising everything, getting prepared for future gigs, and recovering from a load of recent injuries and illnesses, (though I've not had any fits in the past few weeks, I'm glad to report).
  
  I'd like to once again thank everyone for their support, and that it means so much to me.
  
  On a final note, I'd like to share with you the mourning of the passing of Mr. Michael Jackson, one of the biggest influences of modern music, and an idol of mine, he will be missed by musicians and fans alike around the globe.
