    Families in Need at Eid...

    As Salaamu Alaikum,

    Eid is Monday (Muslim holiday) and we are collecting items for five families (four with women as the head of the household), one family has a child that is physically disabled.  One of the women works full-time and does make enough to pay rent without getting assistance, one is 8 months pregnant and worked until
    this past weekend and one has three children under the age of 5 years old.

    We are asking people to give:

    1.  Money
    2.  Gift cards from Walmart, Kmart, Kroger, Publix, Target and any major retailer not going out of business.
    3.  Personal care items (body lotion, dedorant, bath soap,toothpaste, mouthwash, sanitary and bladder control, etc).
    4.  Breeze Cards (Public Transit cards)
    5.  Disposable Diapers and Baby Wipes

    Please bring these items to Maidah:  Atlanta Food Consortium, 2720 Sylvan Rd. SW, East Point, GA 30334 or mail (gift cards and money) to: Baitul Salaa Network, Inc., PO Box 11041, Atlanta, GA 30310.  You can also send money using paypal@baitulsalaam.net.
