Healing Hour  

My life is full and I enjoy every moment of it. I enjoy the challenges I face daily.  I delight when I conquer one of them during a week.  This month I will begin the annual Ramadan fast sometime within the next 48 hours (if the Lord is willing).  This time of year is a very special time for Muslims.  We fast to purge ourselves of all of the ill in our hearts.  We get closer to our Lord.  We read 1/30th of the Quran daily (or try to), we fast from Sunrise to Sunset (no drinking of any liquids or consuming food).  We do all we can not to have ill thoughts, say anything nasty to anyone, cut people off in traffic, no sex with our husbands or wives (the only relation we consider legitimate to have sex) during the day light hours and we try to find something good to do for any and everyone.

At the end of the daily fast we break it with a communal meal when we can. This is called Iftar.  It is a joyous time.  Many of us from around our cities get a chance to see people we do not get to see most of the year.  We reconnect with our old friends, etc.  We get to see children we have not seen, remark on how much they have grown, etc.  It is a great time!

The Obama/Biden campaign is in full swing and at its highest point.  We who support this team of highly qualified and compassionate elected officials are out registering people to vote.  It is important that Americans do not take voting for granted.  We are blessed in this country no matter what our differences maybe that we have the system we have no matter how flawed it is at times. We have the opportunity get our opinions heard and to be able to participate (if we choose).  Many people in the world do not have this level of freedom. 

This Sunday in my neighborhood in Conley, GA a group of us will be out working the streets.  We will be at the H&Y Convenience store owned by one of our Korean business owners and will walk Rock Cut Rd. from Thurman Rd. to SR 42 (if the Lord allows us).  We will knock on the doors of our neighbors and ask our neighbors if they are registered to vote.  There are approximately 500,000 people who are eligible to vote who are not registered in the state of Georgia.  We are going to do all we can to get them registered.  You can contact me to volunteer to assist with this campaign through South Metro Atlanta for Obama at southmetroatlantaforobama@groups.barackobama.com.  We need everyone to help to make the opportunity available to all in the state of Georgia to register to vote. Then we can get out and ask our neighbors to vote in the November general election.

Well, nothing happens unless the business is happening.  I am proud to announce I have found a wonderful company that lives up to all it says.  SFI (Successful Future in Markeing).  It is a 20+ year old company that is headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska.  They are members of the Better Business Bureau in their city and have assisted many people to build steady incomes by working a few hours day, week or month online.  They use what is called portals.  These are ways you can get people to visit your SFI web site.  The portal I chose to use is EyeEarn.com.  You get paid to drive your car with the EyeEarn logo on it.  You get business cards and other items you can use to promote your EyeEarn portal.  You get a guaranteed commission check if you follow the training called PATH every month while you are in this business.  What I like the best about SFI is that there is no hype!  No scams. Just consistent work. You earn your commission check monthly.

SFI is an advertising co-op.  You have an online store to buy items you need and want.  You have an online mall to shop from and you have a successful business to promote.  Best of all you get that guaranteed commission check every month that you put some effort into the building your business.  You get paid to encourage people to move up in the business this is called an Executive Override.  You get paid when people you recruit purchase from the SFI store.  You even get paid when others in the business above you put some of their recruits in your powerline.
