Trevor Burnett is my guest. My name is Trevor Burnett, and at 20 years old I can tell you my parents are very proud to have a published author as a child. My book, Broken Pattern, is a collective stream of consciousness exploring love, lust, the bathroom, the bus, and the overall decay of the current state of civilization. Jam packed with short stories, experiences, poetry, and artwork, it serves as a window into the mind of an 18 year old living in a busy city in a busy world. Inside you'll find everything: short or long, happy and sad, no rock is left unturned. 116 pages of full colour, the book is more than just literature sandwiched between 2 covers. Though I feel for the book as if it were my child, I see it as a stepping stone for a platform to speak about my ideas. Not to say that they are right or even new, but rather they're important views that many of us have thought of before, or never understood. I find that people are walking around looking for answers to questions they don't even know. My book asks these questions.
