Eric Rankin grew up in the yachting industry in Southern California. Drawing from his experience as a licensed boat captain, stunt-boat operator for television and film, SCUBA diver and freelance writer, Eric creates a lush and scenic backdrop for his first novel "The Aquarians." Eric has also traveled the world swimming with dolphins and exploring Mayan ruins. These experiences led him on a path that directed his attention to the end of the Mayan calendar in the year 2012 - a moment in time that seems to be serving as a spiritual wake-up call to all humanity.
