As a director Mikki Willis is recognized internationally for his groundbreaking work in Spanish-language music videos. His films have earned numerous “best film, best director, and audience awards‚” on the festival circuit. As a writer Mikki’s work has been produced for stage, screen and network television, earning acknowledgement such as “Critic's Pick” by the New York Times.

Mikki Willis is the founding director of Elevate Films, Elevate Foundation, and Elevate Film Festival, which challenges the international film community to create works of social and global importance. For this he received the 2008 Conscious Life Humanitarian Award.
