In 1981, he left a very successful advertising agency to form, with his wife, Jan, The Quartus Foundation for Spiritual Research, an international non-profit organization currently headquartered in Boerne, Texas near San Antonio. John is chairman of the board. That same year he wrote his first book, The Superbeings.
