He realized he had been imprisoned by listening to his parents, grandparents, family members and friends telling him how to be, how to think. By uncovering who he was not he began discovering who he really was. Don wrote a book about his experiences and called it Inside Out, because he says, “everything is inside, including my teacher”. He began ministering in prison and has not stopped since he was released in May of 2000. Don became licensed as a minister from the Universal Life Church in February 2002. His primary goal is to create a real Inside and Out of prison reform.
