WAOL Internet Radio Talk Show

WAOL is World Ambassador of Love® with your host, Avis Ward! She's a wandering specific and meaningful generalist. She is a lover of all creation especially the human-kind. Avis's spirituality helps her maintain peace when all about her is chaotic. Her life has been one of joy and disappointments. After numerous miscarriages and learning after-the-fact that she was depressed, she has emerged as a woman of substance, strength and great spirituality. She desires to help others deal with heartache, disappointment, and struggles by falling in love with the One who created us all. You'll be touched by her passion, compassion and love.

Show Notes

She is a self-appointed Ambassador of Love. A visionary, called to unite the social, political and spiritual through love. She's had disappointments in life but has never registered at the heartbreak hotel. Of course, she has loved and lost but what she has lost most is not a partner but the children she never had. She has emerged as a woman of grace and not a child of grief because of her faith. Her shows are about helping you triumph through loss, love, heartache and disappointments. They are about helping you, an overcomer! You'll love her sense of humor, too. Don't miss The World Ambassador of Love®, live!

We feel love for different people in different ways. Objects have received our love. We love pets and art, our work and hobbies. Love is expressed in many ways and when it is ignited, you never know if passions will be contained or your house burned to the ground! We will continue with our Love Revolution! Be here!

  • Original Air Date:

    What is Love?

A continuation and extension of my premiere show. There were technical difficulties and I would like to improve on my delivery. Where is the love is often asked by teens and adults. Perhaps feeling we must search for it is an indication we do not know what love is. Let's talk about love s'more, okay? I never tire of the subject.

  • Original Air Date:

    Where is the Love?

Do you ever wonder when you are ever going to find true love? Does that mean you've had false love and now is your time? I agree, now is your time and you are cautioned against missing out. Love is not lost. Sometimes, we are the ones who are lost.

  • Date / Time:

    Sex and Lovemaking

We are often asked to define love. What is love . . . really? If you are spiritual, you know love is God. But what is it ...that thing which causes us to lose all sense of rational thought when we are young and toss caution to the wind when we are not as young anymore?

Is it love that moves us into intimacy or is it lust? I have found a working difference between lovemaking and sex. When I say "working" I mean one that works for anyone, at any age, regardless.

Sex is a physical and temporary expression of lust; while lovemaking is an emotional and lasting expression of trust.

We can sow our oats at a moment's notice without ever knowing someone. The mood is right, the feelings are hot and we haphazardly end up in bed. Are you sated? Perhaps if you're lucky. This happens quite easily for men but it requires more tenderness and emotional input for women.

These are my thoughts and I'm sticking to it. I'm going to talk live about it very soon. I'll keep you posted so you can join me and call in with your thoughts and comments.

    Until then...

    I'm hugging life with love!
