What's your take on synthetic oil and extended oil change intervals? I'm looking at two options, 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first and 7,500 miles or six months which ever comes first. As far as warranty, I have from a reliable source that unless the oil is the fault of a failure, warranty will not and cannot be voided by a dealer or OEM. These guys also know that they have to give this statement in writing but refuse.
