Today, we will talk to Richard Williams who is on the Autism Spectrum and is also an Eagle Scout.

After Richard learned of his autism diagnosis at age 15 (4 years ago), he embraced it and says that having his diagnosis made life easier for him because he could better understand why he was having challenges.

Richard is part of a very exclusive group of scouts that can call themselves Eagle Scouts. But this achievement has not ended his scouting journey.

Richard is also one of the founders of a Special Needs Crew (Crew 88) out of Aurora, IL that teaches life skills through a variety of scouting adventures.

Richard is a true leader and wants to help others who have autism be successful and achieve their personal best.
