SEX TRAFFICKING IN ST. LOUIS?

Sex trafficking occurs when people are forced or coerced into the commercial sex trade against their will.  Child sex trafficking includes any child involved in commercial sex.  Sex traffickers frequently target vulnerable people with histories of abuse and then use violence, threats, lies, false promises, debt bondage, or other forms of control and manipulation to keep victims involved in the sex industry.  Sex trafficking exists within the broader commercial sex trade, often at much larger rates than most people realize or understand.

The Midwest is a pipeline for human trafficking. The Department of Justice has further identified St. Louis as one of the most intense top twenty jurisdictions. On National Freedom Day, February 1, 2014 an Educational Seminar will be held to bring additional awareness to the community. Tune in on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 9 pm as we speak with one of the main presenters of this seminar, Corine Reed, Program Director at Life Source Consultants. Life Source is working towards effecting a positive change in the area of domestic violence and sexual assault in St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis.  Community based, and when needed culturally, gender and age sensitive support services are provided at no charge for victims and their families. This show will be powerful!

Welcome to The Triumph Challenge! We will Overcome Spiritually, What Naturally Oppresses. With God!
