Lily Stephen began writing poetry and prose in 1969. Her poetic work includes facilitating a regional author’s guild in the Mount Shasta, California area called The Well Versed, and directing the cooperative publishing of The Well Versed Anthology in 1996. To date Lily has published The Third Verse Trilogy… Which includes Volume I, The Tenth Muse; Volume II, The El-eventh Hour, and The Twelfth Age, Volume III. Each book has the subtitle, A Modern Myth. Lily will read from Volume I, The Tenth Muse. An avid kayaker, Rick Glaze was inspired to write The Middle Fork after many rafting trips down the Salmon, Colorado, North Umpqua, and Rogue Rivers.
