Authors on the Air and host Pam Stack welcome Twist Phelan, thriller and mystery author.  Here is a little about Twist's background :  A Stanford graduate and former plaintiff's trial lawyer and commodities trader, Twist Phelan wrote the critically-acclaimed legal-themed Pinnacle Peak mystery series for Poisoned Pen Press. Her short stories appear in Mystery Writers of America and “best of" anthologies and mystery magazines, and have won or been nominated for the Thriller, Anthony, Ellis, and Derringer awards.  Twist told me I live out of a suitcase these days. September was spent in Italy and Croatia; October, in Paris and Barcelona. Mid-December I am off to Iceland. Then, after a winter of skiing in Colorado and trips to Left Coast Crime in California and Sleuthfest in Florida, 2014 will find me in Australia and Thailand, France, Spain, Morocco, and Portugal; Finland and Norway; Turkey, Greece, and Germany; and Italy, finishing up in Los Angeles at Bouchercon. Why all this traveling? Research for my Finn Teller/corporate spy novels and short stories. On the story front, I’ve started another Henri Karubje tale. (“Footprints in Water” came out this past June in Ellery Queen; the first story, “A Stab in the Heart,” won the Thriller Award.  Follow Twist at http://www.twistphelan.com
