Artist Camille Iemmolo appeared via Chicago's Packer Schopf Gallery at Art Miami/Context in 2012 with a variety of work--including her Band Aid House At Play, a large installation piece.Like most of Iemmolo's work there is explanation required. If you attended you certainly noticed the piece
Iemmolo's art isn't just about aesthetics it is about thinking. She references her life and life in general in every piece.
She is about to open a new exhibit in New York City, Write Back Super Hero's Club at Proposition Gallery in July. This new work deals with the importance of letter writing and how it is something we have lost. Iemmolo's work, in a sense, began with communicating via mail. As with all her work there is an interactive element to this new work
Iemmolo will also be showing Band-Aid House At Play and other magical works at Proposition.
We will talk about all these pieces and he artist's work in general.
