Christi lives in a small town in Oregon with her husband, and twin children. The location of the home holds a special place in Christi’s writing life; it stands just 600 feet from the original Applegate Trail and the view from her back door is a hill travelers looked upon years ago as they explored the Oregon Territory and beyond.

She was born and raised in Marysville, Washington and she graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Communications. Her first job brought her to Green Bay, Wisconsin where she was editor for the 5, 6, and 10pm newscasts. She got married and took a job in the Creative Services Department for CBS in Duluth, Minnesota and wrote television commercials. She eventually ended up writing for a weekly show. She left her career in TV when she had twins but kept writing what eventually would be her debut novel, Along the Way Home.
