I'll be talking with John Knauf, author of The Ropewalk.

Synopsis: Two people trapped and isolated by winter storms at a remote boarding school on the coast of Maine try to come to terms with the growing realization that they’re not alone. The school dormitory is a renovated rope-winding factory, or “ropewalk,” and its sheer length makes it nearly impossible to determine if there really is someone else in there with them. Set in the late 1970s, The Ropewalkhighlights what happens when the fading ideals of a disillusioned history teacher confront unexpected realities from the historical past.

About the AuthorThe Ropewalk was awarded Honorable Mention at the New England Book Festival.

John is an an award-winning essayist with a lifelong interest in history, mythology, and literary fiction.
