About the author:
I remember the defining moment of my writing career. I owned a secretarial service and had just switched from a dedicated word processor to using a PC and the Word Perfect program. Like the majority of people, I abhor instruction manuals, especially ones regarding computer programs. They always seem to be written by people who think everyone is born with a chip in their brain. Then I found a manual that was written for the layperson. It was easy to understand, logical and gave me quick answers without having to wade through pages of unnecessary information. I had found my reason to write.
