Meet author Shana Joseph. She will be my guest on the show on Saturday May 16th. We'll be discussing her book, A Young Girl's Testimony From Disastrous to Evangelist.

About the book:

Shana Joseph was a beautiful young girl growing up on the streets of Bronx, NY, raised by her grandmother. The daughter of a “crack-head” – whose mother was rarely around and when she was, it wasn’t a pretty sight. Shana thought fighting was her only weapon for survival and a means of getting the attention she craved. Never hearing a word of praise or love she turned to the street gangs. The more violent her street fights the more praise she received from her “gang family” and the more requests she received to “beat someone up.” Shana thought she was really living when, in reality, she was really dying.

At the tender age of 16 in her innocence (and ignorance) she had sex, for the first time, with a well-known rapper. “His name was Marland and he thought I was seventeen, going on eighteen. Actually I was only fifteen! So he waited for my birthday to have sex with me, figuring I was eighteen then.” Nine months later, along came Marland, Jr.

Read the powerful message that rises out of a true story - woven in sadness, heartache, pain, joy and God working miracles.  You will see lessons learned, wisdom gained, and experiences to share.  In her book, Shana reveals all the unforgettable moments and unforgettable testimonies of her journey.

Today, Shana Joseph is a young and anointed evangelist and powerful preacher who has devoted her life to helping others get to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Happily married, she and her husband live in New York with their three children.
