Author Claudreen Jackson is a retired special educator and the mother of 34 year old PJ who has autism. Claudreen has written the book "Inspired by Autism" which is an encouraging account of her experience with autism also providing quotes, scriptures and poetry. Claudreen was married to Pervis Jackson, a member of the Spinners, one of the original Motown groups. The Pervis Jackson Jr. Autism Foundation was created in his honor after his death in Aug, 2008. Proceeds from book sales go to the foundation. The Pervis Jackson Jr. Autism Foundation pjjraf.org provides support services to parents who can not afford camp, respite, or other services.
