I had someone ask me last week (on my of SIIA audit clients as I recall) what the rewards were for "turning in their boss" for not having properly licensed software at their company.  I discussed how these software trade assocations (the Software Alliance being the other one), offer fincial rewards programs for "nailing their bosss."  Since this is an important issue affecting many companies who find themselves dealing with the "secret informant" ex-employee, I thought I would take a few minutes to discuss the Business Software Alliance and their terms of their reward policy.  This is general information only and designed to help explain the process to companies that may be dealing with a software licensing audit.
