On Thursday, March 11, 2010 @ 6:00 PM PACIFIC STANDARD TIME, ATO on air will be discussing the important and serious issue of our Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women. Special Guest Speaker: Kate Rex, Director, Sister's in Spirit, associate of NWAC. This episode has been requested by the women and men of the nation to bring light to the Who, What, When, Where and How of why this continues to this date. It is our duty to provide the listeners with the awareness needed to make our Missing and Murdered women a priority issue in our lands and political landscape, as it affects us all! Special guests to be announced ASAP, with a special focus on the recent government funding which is small but a symbolic amount of $10-million over the next two years to look into the "disturbingly high" number of aboriginal women who have gone missing or been murdered. Please join us to discuss this very important issue on March 11, 2010 @ 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Miigwetch from the ATO team.
