    This week on ATN Gone Wild we'll be sharing a half hour show with Jim Goyjer and Kelly Taylor on Hemopet/Pet Life-Line, the nation’s largest animal blood bank,  is raising funds for the nation’s first center focused on restoring health for dogs, cats and other pets with special needs and during recovery.  This campaign is for a permanent two-acre, environmentally friendly, pet rehabilitation facility in Garden Grove. The new Center will also serve as the permanent home for Hemopet’s unique greyhound rescue-donor-adoption program and related community service activities.  Upon completion, this new project will feature unique group apartment-style units for the rescued greyhounds with outdoor exercise yards and playgrounds.  The new greyhound village suite concept is also intended to create a favorable setting for prospective adopters to view and connect with the greyhounds.

    Debunking Food Myths & Sharing Animal Spirits

    I'm purposely being dramatic to get your attention on these two very important shows that we have coming up on both ATN Gone Wild and Animal Talk Naturally this week.

    Our Animal Talk Naturally show tomorrow, Tuesday September 11, is a show we recorded with Leslie Rugg, dog author, trainer, lover. We spent our hour debunking some of the myths about what to feed our dogs along with a couple of other important tidbits on dogs. We were dismayed at some of the junk that is now flooding the media online and offline to help the pet food industry get it's foothold strongly back with the public after the devastating pet food recall earlier this year.
     They want us to forget all about it but the truth is, that food was never meant for our carnivorous pets to eat, no matter how many veterinarians write articles in the paper that say so. We invite you to listen to this very important show What IS the Right Food for Our Pets? Debunking the Bunk - Show #111. You can hear Leslie again when she teaches at our 2007 2nd Annual Online Dog Expo at the end of this month. While we're at it this September 11, let's not forget all the search & rescue dogs who helped during 911 and also gave their lives to help.


    Here on ATN Gone Wild, September 12, 2007 at 12:30 PM Mountain Time (2:30 PM Eastern) we'll be speaking with new guest, Teri Wilson, author of the amazing bible study, All Creatures of Our God and King. This is also a very important subject because it shows our Lord God's care and concern for ALL His creatures, great and small. This study takes us from Genesis through Revelation in the Bible and shows animals relevance in the eternal scheme of things. Please join us for a very fulfilling hour as we take a deeper look at the spiritual lives of animals.

    Okay so we have a lot of news to get caught up on! The weekend of August 26th I attended National Dog Day in Malibu, CA and it was HOT as always in Southern CA!

    Dogs got adopted and that was the main thing - although my brother had his major laugh of the day by getting me onto that ancient ferris wheel with him, big chicken that I am!

    Last week on Animal Talk Naturally we featured a seminar by our friend Ron Hevener from the 2006 1st Annual ONLINE Dog Expo all about how we want to continue to love and interact with our animals. We invite you to listen to that show For the Love of Our Animals - Show #110

    Sadly Ron won't be with us this year for our 2007 2nd Annual Online Dog Expo because of the documentary film he is doing on his novel, Fate of the Stallion which featured his beloved horse Nahgua, with the movie featuring his new horse Louchiano.

    We also had an hour long ATN Gone Wild show last week with special guests Janet Depathy, founder of Wishbones for Pets, and Therese Kopiwoda of Pet Sit USA. It was an awesome show, we invite you to listen to Wishbones for Pets here on ATN Gone Wild!

    This week on Animal Talk Naturally we bring you one of our earliest shows from our archives, Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head - Show #7, and yep it's about raindrops but not the kind you think!
