Success formulas deal with goal setting and action planning. But once you are on track, you also have to avoid barriers that get in the way - the potholes and pitfalls along the route. Mark Ellwood outlines what these are, and provides techniques for avoiding them and clearing them out of the way. Building on his extensive time study research, Mark identifies the most common barriers and offers practical tips to stay on track to success. His passion is to inspire you to get more done.

Mark Ellwood, president of his own Toronto-based productivity company, and is an internationally known productivity consultant and the leading expert on how people spend their time at work.

Employees participate in his unique, user-friendly time studies, with his proprietary TimeCorder device. Mark then shows organizations how employees can increase time spent on their top priority activities. His philosophy is that when time is better allocated, increased results will follow.

Mark is also an award-winning speaker, training organizations on how to get more results and how to improve their presentation skills. He is the inventor of the TimeCorder, a simple-to-use device for tracking time spent on various activities. Mark is the author of two books; "A Complete Waste of Time" and "Cut the Glut of Email." He also regularly presents his research at time-use conferences, and has been cited in four text books.

His mission is to give people an extra hour a day for the things that matter most.
