Adonya is an author, poet, autism advocate, and founder of the community-based nonprofit, M.O.C.H.A. - Mothers of Color for Holistic Alternatives. If you ask Adonya what her most rewarding life purpose is, she will answer with a smile, "being a mom." Adonya shared with us the life changing events which encompassed her personal journey as she learned to embrace and accept her son's diagnosis of classic autism.
